Up for sale is a screw key padlock. Hand forged. Probably dates to 1820s-1840s.  It’s very well made. I think it’s American.

It's definitely NOT an import from middle east, etc.

NO markings that I can see. I bought it  from a dealer in West Virginia 20 years ago. Apprx 4 3/8 “ long x 3 1/2”

from top of shackle to bottom of round body. See pictures for dimensions. 1 13/32” end diameter of body.

Weighs in at 1 pound 7.5 ounces with key.
