D K Miller Stem Winding Permutation Combination Lock 1881 MINT safe Nickel

 UP for sale is a combination lock made by D.K. Miller Lock Company Philadelphia Pa. OLD new stock. Excellent shape. 

Bright nickel finish over brass. Ornate back with patent dates. It says Stem Winding Permutation Lock Patented Aug 24th

 1875 and May 2nd 1876 Sept 27 1881. You can google the patents to see how it works. I haven't tried to take it apart.

 Smooth turning dial. Every revolution you can hear 4 clicks between about 21 to 11 with dial ring index at 12 o'clock  I also

This would be nice to use as a sub treasury lock on interior compartment of a safe. UNIQUE!
